Saturday 8th October 2011 - 100 target sporting clays for Benjamin King Money Chartered Accountants
For the second year Benjamin King Money Pty Ltd sponsored our 100 target pre-nationals competition in October. Our President Steve Harris is an Associate of BKM and was happy to present each of the place winners with individual engraved and boxed medals along with cartridges.
Despite some initial concern that rain from the previous days would result in flooding on the grounds, the weather held off, the water subsided and we had an absolute ball shooting what was commented on as being a fantastic and interesting lay-out. A big thanks to all concerned for their efforts in setting up, running and shooting the competition! Congratulations too to our winners who shot with class and style. Our juniors in particular really did a fantastic job of turning the clays on most stands into dust.

Saturday 27th August 2011 - 75 target sporting clays
Another gorgeous day and 45 competitors took to the field for some great competition. Loads of fun, the guys had set some unusual targets. We also had our new bridge on show, with a small working bee having completed the railings on the previous Sunday. On a sadder note, we also joined at presentations in wishing our sincerest condolences to the friends and family of our long time member Bob Snowden, who passed during the week. We will miss him now he has gone to a better place.

Afterwards people relaxed and many hung around for our Annual General Meeting which started after the comp presentations, around 6pm. Saturday 9th July 2011 - 75 target sporting clays
The weather was cold but everyone had a ball. The targets were nice and varied with plenty of face presented. The 73 shooters gave many positive comments about the ground so a big thanks to the guys on the grounds. Everyone also got a sneak peek at the newly laid bridge over our creek and the tidied up tracks. Special congratulations to Peter Kellett for not only winning B Grade but also securing his first ever 25 pin. He wasn’t the only one though, Brian Mortenson also having a tremendous day taking out AA grade and getting a 25 pin of his own.
